‘Relevance of English, Mathematics & Management Sciences to Technical Courses REMMT – 2014’, Hyderabad, April 3-4

Department of M & H, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT), Hyderabad  is conducting a Two-Day National Conference on “Relevance of English, Mathematics & Management Sciences to Technical Courses (REMMT – 2014)” during 3 – 4 April, 2014 in association with ELTAI, Hyderabad Chapter and ISTE, MGIT Chapter.

The theme of the conference aims to bring together ideas and experiences in teaching and learning the fundamental principles and practices in English, Mathematics & Management Sciences for potential global citizens.
This National Conference will act as a stimulating forum for the presentation of innovative ideas, approaches and development and research projects in the area of these engineering courses. It will be a platform for thought provoking exchange of information between practicing teachers, academicians, researchers and industry professionals.

The Mathematics and Humanities curricula adopt an interdisciplinary approach and provide learning experience that enrich students lives.  Mathematics  is an integral part of Engineering course. It finds application in all branches of Engineering. The importance of effective communication in English for students pursuing professional courses cannot be over emphasized. Management is a universal phenomena but more relevant to students of technology. The theme of the conference aims to bring together ideas and experiences in teaching and learning the fundamental principles and practices in these essential courses for potential global citizens.
