Note from the conference organizers
On 15-17 May 2014, we are very proud to be organizing the 8th International ELT Research Conference with the chosen theme of: INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO RESEARCH IN ELT, in Çanakkale, Turkey.
The conference is organised under the auspices of Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Education, ELT Department in collaboration with International Association of Research in Applied Linguistics and Foreign Language Education (UDEAD) US Embassy, Ankara. The conference aims to provide the highest calibre of ELT research by means of keynote speakers, a large number of scholars and presenters, and scientific and cultural exchange within a friendly, informative and stimulating atmosphere. This year we are honoured to have distinguished scholars as our keynote speakers such as Stephan Krashen, Carol Read, Gary Motteram and Donna Brinton, whom we believe will turn the event into a truly learning experience. We also expect many international ELT researchers to choose our biennial event as an outlet for their research findings.
The deadline for abstract submission is March 15th, 2014. Selected papers will be published in two supporting journals namely ELT Research Journal and SSCI indexed South African Journal of Education.
