About the University:
Sathyabama University is a renowned institution providing higher education in the areas of Science, Engineering, Technology and Management. The University was established in the year 1987 under JEPPIAAR Educational Trust.
About the Workshop:
The Department of English conducts workshops with experts in the area of ELT to equip the teachers with changing trends in language teaching methodologies on a regular basis. Although the workshop is meant for teachers in the area of English for Science and Technology, it may be useful to the scholars and also to the students of ELT. Research scholars doing experimental studies may also benefit by learning the techniques in teaching vocabulary and pronunciation. These areas are also interesting to the students as vocabulary knowledge is tested in GRE, TOEFL etc. and the accent of the candidate is given priority in spoken tests. The organizers of the workshop hope that the teachers well-equipped with training in this area could greatly help the students in their career.
