The Centre for Professional Communication, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun, is holding an international conference Methods, Aesthetics &Genres  in  /ˈɪŋ.glɪʃ/ (English) Communication on October 5-6 in Dehradun – India.

About the conference

The acronym MAG/I/C which stands for the “Methods, Aesthetics &Genres in /ˈɪŋ.glɪʃ/(English) Communication”, in entirety defines
the theme of the 2nd International Conference to be conducted by the Centre for Professional Communication, University of  Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun.

Methods infused with aesthetics to deliberate on various aspects and genres of English communication could work miracles and create
magic in communication. The sole purpose of this conference is to discuss, gently unfold and decipher the myriad methods used in the teaching-learning process of English Language & Literature.

Call for papers

Research papers are invited on the theme/ subthemes mentioned below. Papers not covered under the sub- themes, but relevant to
the main theme may also be sent. Abstracts of about 300 words may be submitted electronically (as attachment in MS-Word) by
31, July, 2012, to conferencecpc2012@ddn.upes.ac.in. After the acceptance of abstract is communicated, full paper in soft copy is to be submitted by 31 August, 2012.
