This International Conference aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and educators with interests in the interdisciplinary study of language, media and communication at all levels from around the world. The theme of the ICLC 2013 conference, “Innovative Inquiries and Emerging Paradigms in Language, Media and Communication” is designed to attract the research communities to promote connections between theories and practices and explore different perspectives on the application of research findings into practice. International Departments of English Association (IDEA) is pleased to announce: In Medias Res: Uses of Narrative in English Language Studies, an international interdisciplinary conference for language teachers, translators and literary scholars to be held in Kyrenia in collaboration with Near East University, on September 26th and 27th, 2013. The symposium aims to discuss the narrative aspect of English Language Teaching in conjunction with Literary and Translation Studies.
