Coaching elementary readers to use the reading strategy of making predictions based upon a passage of text. This teacher is using the instructional model presented in Lucy Calkins’ Units of Study for Teaching Reading program. Indian Pupil has less chance to listen proper pronunciation, as well as he/she faces trouble in learning English as A second Language because of varieties in pronunciation, differences in the structure of sentences, no firm rule of grammar.
