i vidya shree is not understanding how to start writing the research paper on the topic reading skills for rural students. [english subject]-mphil from anu -guntur. until now i didn’t start a single word. so, i request you that please guide me and give me suggestions regarding this.

It is rightly said in this essay that “It’s not that students from rural area don’t realize the importance of knowing English. As Krishnaswami and Sriraman(1994) point out”. At present there are many examples how the rural area students are reaching top positions specially where English is compulsory. It is not that they do not realize the importance of English knowledge, it is because lack of proper environment and proper guidance.

hi, this is the fact, in haryana , the students in colleges , specially in rural areas, feel english is like a HAUA and this subject is hard and beyond their understanding. so the nutan mam’s approch and explnation is very good and creat a real picture about the ENGLISH in rural areas of haryana.we should think abuot it and follow the ideas and suggestion given by madam.
