On his TeachingEnglish Blog Mario writes about his teaching techniques. In most of his posts, he talks about the style of story-telling and its impact on students’ learning experience.
He has maintained the content with a personal approach which makes the reading of his blog an interesting task.
Here are some of the posts which he has dealt with in his blog:

He takes his readers into the sensory world and shows how it can be helpful in the teaching process.

Mario’s teaching techniques are very effective. I can say this because I attended a two day workshop and was gifted a book by him called “Humanising Your Coursebook”. I have practised most of the activities sugessted in the book in my ELT workshops and they were a hit. I related the activities to the lessons of the English text books that we were promoting. All the teachers who attended the workshops are performing these activities.
