Teaching Humans | British Council Seminar Series (Video)

[ELTWeekly Volume 7, Issue 13 | June 15, 2015 | ISSN 0975-3036]

The theme of this interactive seminar is common human characteristics and how teachers can work with them rather than fight against them. The world over we find people who are inquisitive but easily distracted, competitive yet lacking in self-control, needing to be part of a group whilst also needing to show individuality. The presenter will look at human traits such as these in terms of learners — how they affect learning and classroom behaviour. Participate in the online poll before the seminar to vote for which human traits will be examined in the session.
