Conference: Confluence VI, January 23-24, 2015, Nagpur – India

EngQuest International announces CONFLUENCE VI, its Sixth Annual International Conference on English as a Second/Foreign Language to be held in Nagpur on 23-24 Jan, 2015. Speakers this year include Dr. Peter McLaren of Dubai Men’s College, Dubai; Dr. Mick King of Middlesex University, UK; Dr. Songsri Soranastaporn of Mahidol University, Thailand; and Prof. Mustapha Ahmed Isa of Kano University, Nigeria. 
Papers on all aspects of teaching and learning ESL/EFL are being accepted until Nov. 30, 2014. All registered presenters are entitled to free publication of their papers in The Confluence Journal, an annual online journal dedicated to the publication of papers presented at Confluence.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

It is our pleasure to invite you to Confluence, the Sixth Annual International Conference on English as a Second/Foreign Language – Confluence VI for short. It is organized every year by the Departments of Basic Sciences and Humanities of Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology,and Abha Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering. The Conference will be held on 2324 Jan, 2015 at Nagpur, India. The only one of its kind in Central India, it is a very popular conference with more than 500 people attendees every year.

The guest list this time reads like the who’s who of the ELT world and we have among our speakers the Publications Coordinator for TESOL Arabia and a board member of the MENA Extensive reading Foundation Mr. Peter McLaren, the Founder Secretary of ThaiSim and Executive Board Member of eLearning Association of Thailand, Dr. Songsri Soranastaporn, English Professor from Bayero University, Nigeria, Prof. Mustapha Ahmad Isa, Academic Coordinator, MA in Learning and Teaching Processes in Second Languages, Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Medellín Colombia, Dr. Raúl A. Mora and other eminent speakers.

Papers/proposals are now being accepted for Confluence VI.  Papers presented here are published in The Confluence Journal, ISSN 2250 -138x. Papers that make it through a peer review are published in, The Journal for ESL Teachers and Learners bearing the ISSN 2320 – 7140.

The registration fee for the Conference for Indian participants is Rupees 1500, and for International participants is$150, publication does not attract any additional charge.
