Conference on ‘Foreign Languages in Changing Times V’, Slovak Republic, November 6, 2014

[ELTWeekly Volume 6, Issue 21 | September 7, 2014 | ISSN 0975-3036]

Message from the organizers

At the foundation of the Faculty of Applied Language in 2010, which came into being by transformation of the Institute of Languages, University of Economics in Bratislava, we started a tradition of annual international scientific conferences.

This year we are holding the fifth event of this type. The conference is an opportunity for us to assess the quality of our research  and publication activities,  demonstrate and extend our international research cooperation with individuals and institutions, as well as encourage our young colleagues to present preliminary results of their research. We are also hoping to establish further contacts with colleagues outside Europe, who may be interested in sharing their knowledge and experience in the areas listed in the First Call for Papers.

The conference will be held at the Faculty of Applied Languages, University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovak Republic on 6 November, i.e., immediately before the start of the global event The Science and Technology Week 2014.
