The Gayatri College of Science & Management is organizing a two day national seminar on ‘Innovative Approaches to Learning and Evaluation in Higher Education, keeping in view the requirements of our time’ February 18-19 in Bangalore – India.

Themes and Sub-themes:

Innovative Approaches to Learning and Evaluation in Higher Education, keeping in view the requirements of our time

Sub – themes:

1. The necessity of innovative approaches in Higher Education

2. Student Centric Learning – Thrust for creative thinking

3. Fixed versus flexible approach to syllabus in Higher Education

4. Mad Pursuit of technology based education may ultimately dismember the very ideals and concepts of Higher Education

5. The Social orientation of Higher Education – turning away from notional thinking.

Paper Presentations

Papers (about 1000-1500 words) with original and research approach are invited from participants for presentation at the Technical session on the subthemes.

Abstract Submission

Those who propose to present a paper should submit an abstract in about 200 words on the theme of the paper (word file in  A4 size document using Arial font and Font size12 in single space) through our email (saikiran.narayanasetti@gmail.com, g a y a t r i d c s k l m @ g m a i l . c o m ) on or before 30th January, 2012 with a hard copy to the postal address of the college. Selected abstracts will be published.
